WAYNE'S BREAK RULES

1.  PAYMENTS

CANADA ONLY: Etransfer can be sent to: waynesbreaks.ripnship@gmail.com

- Payments are due immediately when taking a spot/team in a break. If you select the Etransfer option please send right away, we will give a grace period of 1 hour and then spots may be released.

Password should not be required, if it asks for a password check to ensure you have the correct spelling.

2.  Shipping

- You will receive All 'hit' cards for the break. Cards hit  within 1 week will be combined, packaged in a bubble mailer, and shipped via regular mail. If you require tracking or additional insurance, please reach out as additional shipping charges may be needed.

3.  THERE ARE NO SKUNKS – Every spot / team taken will get something no matter what.

- You will NEVER leave empty handed in our breaks. If your team / spot does not get any “hit” cards in a break, you will still receive something from us. This usually comes as a FREE sealed pack, occasionally we will include specific cards like inserts, rookie, auto cards etc instead and, this will be determined by the breaker. We may award higher value ‘skunk’ prizes depending on the situation, this is at the full discretion of the breaker.

4.  WAYNE’S BREAK PODIUM - GOLD SILVER BRONZE

-  We all love hitting those big cards and seeing them displayed front and center for all to see! Well… now you can get rewarded for it!! Each break we will choose cards to be featured on our coveted Wayne’s Break Podium as the Gold, Silver, Bronze winners. Each winner will receive Podium Points… these podium points are accumulated monthly to win FREE prizes (approx 800-1200+ in value each and every month, with prizes frequently jumping well above this for special events).

-  The points are awarded as follows: Gold = 5, Silver = 3, Bronze =1 (Points may differ based on multiple winners, this is at the discretion of the breaker)

-  Points are accumulated throughout the month and a LIVE leaderboard will be available for you to view your points & fellow member’s points (See “Leaderboard” tab). Prizes are determined at the end of the month and may change month to month.

*The Gold, Silver, & Bronze cards will be selected live during / at the conclusion of each break. The cards chosen as the Top 3 will not be determined exclusively by dollar value comps…  as this is done live it is difficult to determine in real time. Furthermore, the Top 3 cards will be determined based on: approximate value, rarity, player, attributes (auto, patch, etc.), and any other unique card features.

**The determination of Top 3 will be under the full discretion of the breaker. The breaker may choose to allocate more cards for the podium if they deem that it is acceptable to do so… here are a couple of examples: (1) Mcdavid auto and Crosby auto pulled in the same break and have approximately similar values, both may be given Gold status, leaving 1 more card for the bronze status. (2) If Gold & Silver are determined, however, 2 cards are close in attributes these may both gain Bronze status.

***The Podium is currently for all hockey breaks. Other sports breaks will include their own prizes based on # of break milestones.

5.  Cards without a team Name/Logo.

Any card that does not have a specific team logo or team name will follow the below criteria to determine the rightful owner.

1)  Firstly, if the checklist for that product lists the team for that specific card then this will be the golden rule.

2)  If the checklist does not specify a team (which can be common with Leaf product), we will reference the card itself if the jersey the player is wearing is obvious what the team is (ex. Wayne Gretzky card where the design and colours match the Edmonton Oilers).

3)  If the above 2 do not apply… the card will go to the team that the specific player on the card played the most amount of NHL games for.

4)  Lastly, if the player never played in the NHL… it will go to the team the player was drafted by, and if they were never drafted… the card will then be randomized to all spots / teams in the break.

A final note, if the player is a rookie and is wearing a National Team jersey… the card will go to the team the player played for as a rookie (ex. John Tavares rookie year card in Team Canada jersey, the card will go to the New York Islanders, however, if this was not a rookie card we would reference the previous rules breakdown.

6.  BASE CARDS / Non “hit” cards are all donated to the Boys&Girls Club (Sherwood Park, Strathcona County, and Edmonton), The Edmonton Children’s Hospital, Value Village, and other avenues to support multiple local organizations. If anyone in a break wants base cards, please reach out via direct message to the breaker beforehand. Only those in the break with a spot/team can claim base cards for the break, base cards will not be sorted into specific teams, if requesting you will get a random assortment. Base cards will not be sent to those outside of the break as we take this opportunity to support the many great communities and organizations in the city.

7.  Relocated teams

- Relocated teams will go to the current team. Ex. Atlanta Thrashers card will go to the Winnipeg Jets, OLD Winnipeg Jets will go to Arizona, which in turn for new products goes to Utah.. If there are teams that no longer exist (and did not relocate), the card(s) will be randomized between all teams in the break.

8.  Randoms

- If we require a list to be randomized this will be performed live by the breaker using Random .org.

9.  Respect & Kindness

- We're all in this together to create a fun and welcoming environment. Let's treat everyone with respect and kindness.

- Negativity will not be tolerated, please keep negative comments to yourself or contact us if you have an issue that needs assistance.
